  • It has been said before but it bears mentioning here, Any stick will do for a bow but it takes a hell of a lot of work to make a good arrow.

When looking through the site and dreaming of the arrows you want, you should put some thought into what you will be doing with them, will you be shooting only at standard targets or stumps and deer?

If you want an arrow to do everything, remember that it will not do any of them as well as ones designed for the purpose at hand. We can make you footed and tapered arrows that will fly as well as or better than you can shoot and they will excel at the butts. Would you want to risk breaking and loosing them shooting at a stump?

Another concern is the coloring and finishing of arrows. We like and prefer a bright and tasteful arrow, it makes seeing them in flight and in the target easier and it makes finding them easier in the grass and bush. Camouflage arrows are now all the rage but is it a good idea? We don't think so, if you can't see the arrow as it flys towards your target how can you know if you missed or not?

All in all we suggest you call us and we will be happy to take the time to help you decide what is best for you.

We hope to hear from you. Best of luck
