This is the sort of arrow that would have felled monsters in the heroic age of Beowulf or deer at
the hands of one of Robins merry men. When you needed arrows that you could count on this is what
you got, a strong light shaft, straight and clean , fletched of
goose and pointed with steel. Of course in the days past, they did not have the hexshaft in their corner either. These arrows are tougher than normal softwoods like pine and cedar and much more consistent in
strength and spine, Beowulf would have loved these arrows.
Hand cut self nocks and finished in 3 coats of hand rubbed satin finish polyurethane, period shaped
fletching laced on with black nylon thread, and a modern field point. For draw weights above 50 lbs
a spine is sawn into the shaft below the nock to prevent the shaft from splitting out.
